Step by step
How a blind close works for cashiers in Wink You, step by step.
When you open the register, enter the opening cash, here 500.
Tap Blind Close so it says ON.
Tap Open Register.
Current Cash now shows dots. The cashier cannot see what the drawer should hold.
So whoever counts the drawer counts only what is really there.
At the end of the shift, tap Close Register.
Count the cash and type it in Actual Balance. No expected amount is shown.
Tap Close, and a manager approves with their PIN.
The register closes without showing the difference. Managers see it later in your dashboard.
A branch can also make blind close always on for cashiers.
